Our Story

Our Mission

Bumi means Earth in the Indonesian language, Oditi means ‘Dawn’ in Sanskirt. New hope in a new normal life to re-appreciate Mother Earth, by relying on natural herbs as the center of healing. The original power of the island of Bali with the surrounding land revives herbal plants from an ancient cultural heritage that are beneficial for health.

Bumi Herbs Oditi Bali is an artisan industrial herbal processing. Synergizing with our fostered herbal farmer groups in Jembrana district by using the solar drying method without chemicals or pesticides, we produce fresh herbs with guaranteed hygienic quality. We were born during a pandemic period which was motivated by an awareness of natural healthy living which is mandatory for our survival. Our mission is to continuously bring campaigns for naturally healthy living as a new lifestyle in the new normal era.

Our Brand Values

  • ‘Healing inside to outside’ is our concept that health and beauty radiate from within a healthy soul.
  • Creating basic needs products based from plant-based and herbs ingredients.
  • Committed to using environmentally friendly packaging with valuable packaging designed and together with the global community campaigning for the sustainable packaging movement, reduce-reuse-recycle habit in each of our products.
  • We carry the Sociopreneur concept to maximize the benefit of society and the environment. We work hand in hand to produce the best herbal products on the island of Bali.

Sociopreneur Concept

  • We conduct direct training to the Karang Taruna and PKK groups on a regular basis for processing herbal medicine to the right industry standards. In addition, we have built a home herbal dryer – a solar dryer system with the help of KOPERNIK which has a special construction to produce the best herbal drying products from Baler Bale Agung Village, Jembrana District. The capacity of the drying house of this solar dryer system is 400 kg of dried herbs with a time of 1-3 days so that it can accommodate micro-scale herbal products.
  • The collaboration with the Sociopreneur system has driven the micro-economy directly through housewives who are members of women’s empowerment groups and farmers in village membership. We believe that by synergizing together, a long-term sustainable herbal industry will be created that can provide a better future for the local economy as well as contribute to the national economy.
